By promoting African scholarship, contemporary discourse on Africa, and research, the Yale Africa Initiative strengthens relationships between Yale University and African institutions, increases career opportunities for Yale students across the continent, and attracts the best and the brightest African students and scholars to the university.

Since its establishment in 1969, the Afro-American Cultural Center at Yale University (affectionately called “the House”) has nurtured and encouraged generations of Black Yalies to become some of world’s leading scholars, activists and professionals.

The Office of International Students & Scholars (OISS) has served over 6,000 international students that have called Yale University home, providing resources in both academic and personal aspects.

We are partnering with Talent Match, a Kigali based organization dedicated to youth unemployment through skills training, mentorship and job & internship placements. Our career fair will feature employers from a variety of industries as well as a career advice workshop from Talent Match. We are excited to work with them and look forward to introducing you to their programs, resources, and company partners.

Golden Key International Honour Society is the world’s largest international collegiate honour society for graduate and undergraduate students, and has strong relationships with over 400 universities around the world. Golden Key chapters are committed to implementing service projects and leadership development for all students on their campus. Members qualify when they are at the top 15% of their class, and are given access to a wide range of rewards, scholarships, travel and study abroad opportunities, and more.
